Right to Dignity

right _to_dignityBISWA Has brut dignity bad to the lives of 9,62,265 households. One third of the world's poor reside in India, Only 31% of Indians have access to improved sanitation. And only 88% of Indians have access to improved source of ware. Most certainly, many Indians don't lead a life of dignity. This needs to change. The right to live with dignity is, undoubtedly, irrevocable.

And that's what has been BISWA's endeavor since 1994. In 21 states of India or in other words 9,62,265 households, BISWA has been instrumental in bringing in inclusive social development by allowing people, especially women earn a dignified livelihood. BISWA has strived to ensure all-round development of the society by:

 

 

 

  • Empowering women for comprehensive community development
  • Generating honorable livelihood options
  • Ensuring adequate drinking water supply
  • Developing appropriate sanitation facility
  • Creating access to health-care facility
  • Creating access to health-care facility
  • Creating access to education
