Laxmipriya’s Rular Marketing Event at Rengali |

On 4th July 2010 a One day awareness programme on Rural Marketing was successfully conducted at Rengali Branch Office, Sambalpur by Laxmipriya Micro Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. with an objective of creating awareness among the Women SHGs for livelihoods promotion through small business development.
There were more than thirty members participating in the event including concerned Branch Managers, Area Managers, Community Organisers and prospective self help group Vendors from BISWA from Rengali branch areas under BISWA operation. Mr. Sanjit Kumar Biswal, Branch Manager of BISWA Rengali branch was extended warm welcome and introduced the programme objectives among the participants. Mr. Ramesh Chandra Das, Manager-Faculty from Laxmipriya Micro Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. imparted programme deliveries on the thematic inputs of Laxmipriya’s retail marketing strategy through SHG Sale Outlets for livelihoods promotion of the rural weaker sections, Role & responsibilities of the staff personnel involved in the marketing process, Facilities from ITC/Laxmipriya Micro Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. for implementing such retail outlets at rural villages and profit sharing methodology, Discussion on circulated terms & conditions with agreement formalities to undertake the project, Method of households consumer survey and their commodity need analysis in prior to submitting indent, Action plan to start the business at the earliest etc. All the participants have learned about the income generation and rural employment creation process as well. They were supplied with mid-day meals and other logistic supports in participating in the event. The programme was concluded at 5pm with vote of thanks proposed by Shri Debendra Deep, Area Manager. |
