Invites Nominations For Biswa National Award For Excellence in Human Development, 2011 PDF Print E-mail

BISWA, a premier civil society organization working in 20 major states in India has newly established a National Award for Excellence in Human Development to recognize outstanding contributions of an individual/ organization. The Award will be presented on BISWA Foundation Day, 7th January 2011 at Sambalpur, Odisha. The Award is meant for Eminent Persons / Reputed Organizations/ Development Networks and Forums / Policy Makers and others with high quality contribution to Human Development. For individual, the minimum age limit is 45 years and above with at least 15 years of outstanding contributions in the field of human development. Eligible candidates for the award may fill in the following nomination form and send this to address given above latest by 27th December 2010.  A jury panel of eminent and well experienced persons headed by the retired  Justice  of Odisha High Court will decide the most eligible and rightful candidate for this prestigious award . The nomination in sealed packets can be sent directly by individuals / organizations / networks or can be nominated by other organizations and individuals.  No telephone calls and contacts will be entertained. The selected candidate will be communicated by Chairman BISWA after the jury panel recommends the name. The Award carries    Rs.1, 00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh) cash prize with a citation. All the expenses- travel boarding and lodging of the winning candidate will be borne by BISWA.  For details please refer to the guidelines attached.
