On behalf of Water.Org, Mr. P. M Jose, the Programme Manager, visited BISWA Head Office on 21st June. During his three days programme, he visited ten villages of Maneswar Block and interacted with the water credit beneficiaries. He also looked over the development activities undertaken by BISWA under Holistic village development; Inclusion of microfinance in WATSAN intervention project in Maneswar block of Sambalpur. He visited Gulunda, Chhatabar, Sahaspur, Haldi, Dakra, Dhama, Huma, Dakdera and Dedarnuapali villages and interacted with a number of SHGs those who had taken the water and sanitation credits. The house hold water supply established by BISWA in Sahaspur and Dhama was highly appreciated by him and he was confident that under the efficient leadership of BISWA’s NRM team number of villages could be covered under this project.On behalf of BISWA, Mr. Sandeep Patnaik facilitated the visit with help from NRM Project Staff.
