newyear11The very first day of the New Year is a day for greeting each other. Each and every employee of BISWA including some of its close well wishers thronged to great the Chairman in person on that occasion. Such was the gathering at the entrance of Chairman’s chamber that the well wishers had to stand in a queue and wait for their terms. There was huge piling of bouquets of colourful fresh flowers brought by the well wishers in front of the Chairman on that occasion. The Chairman was also in no haste on that occasion, rather he had spared time for each one to receive and reciprocate the greetings. Each of the visitors was offered New Year’s gifts alongwith sweets by the Chairman.

A staff meeting was arranged in the Central Office premises later on that day. Senior Managers and Heads of Departments bagged the opportunity to come forward and deliver their New Year’s greetings & Messages. Speaking to the occasion, the Chairman delivered his New Year’s message as per the tradition of BISWA. He said, “The passed out year was not so good with pestering recession in the economic fronts. Luckily BISWA was not so much affected by it. It was only possible due to our able leadership. I am proud of those leaders and their dedication for the organisation. Let the New Year be a Year of Consolidation for all of us as we have observed the receding year as a year of cleanliness drive.”

The Chairman emphasised, “Let us take the next ten year as the decade of stability for BISWA. We are going to observe our 16thnewyear21 Annual Day soon and it is the occasion for our introspection of all the activities of the last 15 years. Let us be optimist to make BISWA the number one organisation in the World in every sphere of our activities. This is very much possible if we are dedicated to our cause and take care of our role & responsibilities. Our Management is always ready to give you your legitimate claims, but still some remain self-centred and selfish, that is really unfortunate. If you keep on insisting demands beyond those legitimate claims, your family may be in trouble and that would be unfortunately real bad for you. So it is my humble request to all of you to try to be transparent as much as possible, while you are dealing in money matters. Remember we are not working in isolation rather we are always under close watch. So anyone in the effort to cross the line of ‘Laxman Rekha’ may have to face the consequences, which may be disastrous for them. Let us take an oath of integrity & transparency on this occasion of New Year’s Day.”
