Bhubaneswar, Jun 5: Eminent green activisit Prafulla Kumar Dhal was on Sunday felicitated with  the prestigious “Environmentalist of the Year Award,” marking the 39th World Environment Day. Former chairman of State Pollution Control Board Dr L.N. Patnaik conferred the award here at a special function organised by the Odisha Environmental Society and Indian Science Congress Association.

A post-graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, - Mr Dhal, is presently working as Director, Bharat Integrated Social Welfare Agency (BISWA),
